This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

A detailed skull is embellished with an array of flowers blooming from the top and sides, creating a contrast between the symbol of death and the beauty of life. Birds appear to be flying out and away from the floral display, adding a sense of movement and freedom to the piece. The monochromatic color scheme emphasizes the intricate linework and artistic shading which provides a somber yet elegant aesthetic.
About Balazs Solti
Balazs Solti is a self-taught freelance illustrator. He was born in 1979. He has been living in Budapest ever since. In 2010, ​he started his career as an illustrator and soon became a full time artist. First, he designed T-shirts for the fashion industry, and that made a mark on his unique style. In his works, he combines modern design influence and affection for pop culture to create detailed graphics with a little humor including a collection of animal and skull portraits.
